Bios
Stephen Delaney, Project Assistant
Stephen Delaney joined the Davidoff Communications team as part of the 2012 winter internship program. He now continues his role as a Project Assistant. Stephen graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with majors in Journalism and Spanish. He specialized in both strategic communications and reporting. Before coming to Davidoff Communications, he spent a year working with VE Global in Santiago, Chile. VE Global is a nonprofit that works with children at social risk in schools, community centers and children’s shelters. Stephen worked in Aldea María Reina, a home for girls aged 12 – 18 who had been removed from their homes due to causes of abuse or neglect. Stephen worked to plan and present educational workshops with topics such as dance, art, theater, music, writing, reading, English, sports and cooking. During his time there, he also worked as the coordinator of marketing and communications for VE Global. His responsibilities included managing the newsletter, website and all social media. He has previously worked as a tutor and teacher’s assistant at LaFollette High School and as a legal intern at Brinks, Hofer, Gilson & Lione.
In his time at Davidoff, Stephen has worked on projects for client such as the AIDS Foundation of Chicago, the American Association of Museums, the Arts & Business Council of Chicago and the National Association of Secondary School Principals. Stephen also focuses on supporting John Davidoff as he develops his book, tentatively titled “Mission Drivers: People Who Make the World Better Through Dynamic Organizational Leadership.”
