As owner of his own public relations agency, RK Public Relations based out of Chicago, Rick has provided practical intelligence to such clients as Chevrolet Motor Division, Ford Motor Company, Kellogg's, 5th 3rd Bank, General Growth Properties Inc., Accident Fund Insurance, MUS College of Law, and Wendy's restaurants.

Throughout his career, Rick has received several news awards from the Associated Press and United Press International. Other recognitions include: 1996 & 1997 Gold Spectrum Award, and 1997 Best of Show from Public Relations Society of America.
