Zero to Three
Zero To Three called on Davidoff in 2006 to consult with them concerning an evolving corporate partnership. A preeminent United States research organization for early childhood development, Zero To Three is based in Washington, DC, and emphasizes the physical and mental well-being of infants, toddlers, and families.ZTT needed help defining its assets and needs. “Davidoff came to us at a time when we were trying to position ourselves to work with potential corporate partnerships” said Matthew Melmed, Executive Director of ZTT. “We needed a way to enable us to have a better bridge in terms of language and communication.” Davidoff conducted an asset inventory, positioned Zero To Three as experts in their field, and provided insights on the top issues affecting parents with young children. By taking time to understand the organization, Davidoff could use its full potential to maximize the partnership. “They spent time really trying to understand who we were, what we had to offer, what our concerns were, and how to frame the discussion in a way that would enable us to put our best foot forward,” Matthew said. “John is particularly sharp and a sensitive assessor of an organization’s strengths.” Once Davidoff helped ZTT frame its resources, John helped facilitate a meeting with a potential corporate partner. As a result, ZTT reached a three-year deal to contribute and license content to the corporate partnership. Davidoff helped retain a long-standing relationship as the development of funding from new corporations and established ZTT in the marketplace. www.zerotothree.org |
