Bios
John Knoebel, Senior Consultant
John
is recognized as a leader in business and new market development, innovative
thinking and forming partnerships. He
joined Davidoff Communications in fall 2008 from the Alzheimer’s Foundation of
America where he was National Director of Marketing. At Davidoff, he implements strategies enabling companies to
recognize and capitalize on new opportunities.
He
is a recognized public speaker and a valued participant in health and wellness
initiatives across the country. He worked with Special Olympics,
ILH, L’Arche, Seguin Services and the Alzheimer’s Foundation. John is a core member of Building a Healthier
Chicago; the model coalition between Health and Human Services, the American
Medical Association and the City of Chicago Department of Health. He actively contributes to the chamber of commerce
health and wellness committees in Chicago, Dallas and Los Angeles. And in 2008, John accepted an invitation to
join the patient advisory committee for the National Association of Chain Drug
Stores. He is one of 51 selected for
the 2004 Leadership Washington program. John graduated from Harvard University with a
degree in Psychology and Social Relations, specializing in mindfulness and
attenuation. He is currently working on his PhD in Human
Development and uses a combination of academic inquiry and professional
experience to support nonprofit and corporate clients.
John is married to Dr. Nancy Bryan and lives in
Chicago’s south loop. After a two sport
collegiate career, he still plays
numerous sports, coaches and directs Special Olympics events, and
officiates Track and Field for the NCAA and USA Track and Field. John is currently a director on three
diverse boards including the Harvard Club of Chicago, Bear Necessities
Pediatric Cancer Foundation and the Contemporary School of Glass Art (founding
board member).
